Jena’s April Edit

Jena’s April Edit

The past few weeks have marked a fresh new season. I’ve been traveling a lot lately and now that I’m back home, and in celebration of the first weeks of spring, I’ve been taking the time to clean out my home and search for some great new pieces. For my April Edit, I want to share with you some inspiration on where to shop for items to brighten up your beautiful home.

If you’re also doing a spring cleaning, I recommend that you read one of my recent blogs, “Detox Your Cleaning And Cookware Products.” Here, I discuss why being proactive with your health means looking at things like cookware and cleaning products and their effects on the body and of those around you.

1stDibs Furniture

Whenever I’m on the hunt for new furniture, 1stDibs is one of the first places I start. It’s an incredible online marketplace that captures the magic of the Paris flea market. You can find beautiful vintage, antique, and contemporary furniture. I love that you can discover items from around the world and place bids at auction for your favorite pieces too!

Garde Furniture LA

Another furniture favorite of mine is Garde. Based in Los Angeles, Garde curates unique and talented designs from around the world to bring together everything from artisan-finished marble tables to lamps made with traditional Czech glass-making techniques. Whenever I’m in Los Angeles, I make sure to head into their store on Beverly Boulevard for some inspiration.

James Perse Bedding

One of the best feelings in the world is getting into bed with a fresh new set of sheets. Don’t you agree? I’ve been a huge fan of James Perse bedding, which is made from the finest Italian woven linen. It’s a truly heavenly way to get a good night’s rest!

Jessalyn Brooks Artist

Jessalyn Brooks is a Los Angeles-based artist and her paintings reflect the contours of the female form, filled with abstract color. Her colorful artworks are inspired by the geometric lines of cubism, made famous by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. I love her focus on the female form; each piece will surely bring aesthetic inspiration to your home.

And for your closet…

Clio Peppiat Dress

I wore this stunning Clio Peppiatt Dress back when we hosted our Agent Masterclass Event with Citrine Beauty in Arizona. So many of you were DM’ing me about it. Their prism dress is hand beaded by their artisan makers in a rainbow gradient and I can’t wait to wear it again and again!

Amina Muaddi Pumps

These gorgeous Amina Muaddi Rosie PVC pumps are the perfect pair to complement the Clio Peppiat Dress. They’re my favorite shoes right now and will make your legs look extra long!

Fountain Coffee Room At The Beverly Hills Hotel

Because spring cleaning is hard work and we deserve a break, if you’re in LA, why not head to one of my favorite spots, the BHH’s Fountain Coffee Room! It’s a cozy 1950s-style grill that serves breakfast all day. They’ve restored the original bar stools, so when you take a seat at the counter, you’ll be surrounded by the nostalgic banana leaf wallpaper.

holi (lift)

Finally, I am truly obsessed with our holi (lift) product. I wanted to create the ultimate ageless elixir for all skin types but one that was really exceptional for mature or aging skin too, particularly with helping to firm and lift the neck area. With holi (lift), I sourced a natural ingredient that is being called a topical botox because of it's ability to slow muscle contraction. What this means is that it is tightening and firming the skin while simultaneously slowing aging. I decided to formulate holi (lift) with it, and I hope you love it as much as I do!
