Name: Gab Waller

Beauty Icon: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, her approach to beauty is everything I both admire and live by. I also love following @nikkideroest. She is a natural beauty with the most incredible, glowy skin.

Favorite city for inspiration: Los Angeles. It’s a mix of that entrepreneurial spirit that flows throughout the city and that incredible sunny weather that energizes you. I can’t wait to get back there this year.

Introvert or extrovert: An outgoing introvert. I have a very bubbly and outgoing personality, but I definitely need my own time to recharge my energy.

Daily uniform: I’m a firm believer in investment pieces that you can mix and match daily. I tend to always opt for neutral colored comfort pieces. A beautiful blazer, a relaxed tee, and a pair of slouchy pants are my usual go-to’s.

AM ritual: It is go-time from the moment I wake up with my line of work. It’s very important that I am working on multiple time zones, and in the morning, I have a couple of hours to catch both Europe and the UK before they go offline. Once I’ve caught up on everything that has flowed in overnight, I make my morning smoothie (the same smoothie that I’ve had for the past 5 years!) and shower to get ready for the day.

PM wind down:The PM is another busy period for me, as Europe and the UK are both now back online, and it requires me to be active and available. Right before I close my eyes, I like to read back on the news from that day and any new articles that have caught my eye. I particularly love keeping up on articles from Business Of Fashion.

Secret skill: Multitasking at its finest.

Best Advice you’ve ever received: Never forget where you came from, to remain humble always.

A mistake you’ve learned from: Hesitating on hiring and trying to juggle it all myself. Looking back at my journey, I would have hired earlier than I did.

To your younger self: With passion, anything is possible.

A wellness expert who has significantly helped you: The lovely Jeannie from a local spa in Sydney, called Venustus. Their lymphatic massages are incredible.

Favorite wellness/beauty book:The Beauty Chef by Carla Oates.

Three things you’re really into right now: Focusing on my vegan eating. I’ve been vegetarian for almost 7 years now, and I’m enjoying the change—my skin is loving it too! My daily neighborhood walks, which I had stopped doing pre-COVID, and my weekly relaxation baths. I light some candles, pop some music on, and take the time to relax.

How are you managing anxiety in light of COVID-19: It has been very much business as usual for my team and I these past couple of months, with March being one of our busiest months to date. My focus right now more than anything is on my clients, and ensuring I can still source their pieces while the lockdowns continue. That, in addition to spending the time with my family, is helping me stay grounded.

Is there a COVID-19 silver lining for you: Appreciation for the little things in life that I may have taken for granted in the past. Hugs with my friends would be number one!
