A diverse community living under your underarms? Who knew!
As you guys know me, I feel super passionate about healthy beauty ingredients. There are so many Ingredients found in personal care products that are loaded with chemicals that do harm to our bodies and most of us are unaware of them!
One of the best ways to protect ourselves from harmful toxins is to stop using regular antiperspirant deodorant. Research shows that compounds used in deodorant are absorbed and stored in our fat cells which are prevalent in the underarm area. Our under arm tissues also contain hormone receptors which react to most toxic deodorant ingredients. For this reason, there have been so many studies linking these ingredients to reproductive issues and even things like breast cancer.
Here's a list of the ingredients you don't want to find in your everyday deodorant
-POLYETHYLENE GLYCOLS (PEG)
Our underarms have a direct route to our lymphatic system which is an essential part of our immune system and our skin readily absorbs everything we put on it. Just like in our gut, there is a diverse community living under your armpit and your Antiperspirant deodorant is changing more than just your smell. Those super harsh ingredients are killing all bacteria essential to our skin's health. There is a growing body of research that is showing that our skin has a unique microbiome that works to protect us! Yes, our skin has billions of microorganisms that naturally live on our skin -including bacteria, fungi, viruses. This eco- system isn't to be tampered with. Our skin is our first line of defense guys!
This is why I created my line of deodorants. They are all natural, safe and they protect your skin's good bacteria. It took me months formulating this deodorant in my kitchen to create something that naturally works harmoniously with our bodies. So much trial and error but I can say I have perfected my deodorant line! My formulas use only the best naturally derived ingredients that will not only prevent body odor but are also deeply hydrating and nourishing to the delicate underarm area.
