Eat this for: I truly believe your morning routine sets the tone for the day. My mom taught me to start my day with warm lemon water, I swear by it. Drinking warm lemon water will make sure that your digestive system functions smoothly. It also helps in maintaining the pH balance of the body and acts as a detoxifying agent.

Favorite skin food ingredient and why: Tahini is my magic. It’s made of raw sesame seeds and is pure fatty acids.

Some of its benefits include:

Helps to maintain healthy skin and muscle tone.
It’s a great source of plant based protein. It has 20% complete protein, making it a higher protein source than most nuts.
It's easy for your body to digest because of its high alkaline mineral content, which is great for assisting in weight loss.
It’s one of the best sources of calcium out there.

Go-to quick, healthy meal: There are so many 5-minute
recipes on my website. My favorites are the Cauliflower Shakshuka and Lazy Homemade Hummus:)

Skincare mantra: Double cleanse, exfoliate, and holi c is my bff! Recipe: Cauliflower Shakshuka

Ingredients:

Cauliflower rice ( I used a frozen bag 500G ) 1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 cup chopped scallions

2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup tomato sauce (I used Raos)
1/4 cup pesto tahini (all flavors will be delicious)
Spices: sprinkle of turmeric, smoked paprika, cumin, salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Start with olive oil on medium heat in a nonstick skillet and sprinkle all spices inside to infuse your oil and open your spices. You will be able to smell it when your spices open up (about two minutes).

Add in the cauliflower rice and mix it. Add all the green herbs.

Add the tomato sauce and pesto tahini. Mix well and add water if needed. Cover and simmer on low for 15-20 minutes. Taste and adjust flavor if needed.

It’s time to crack your eggs on top.

After adding the eggs, cover the skillet for 3-5 minutes longer, depending on how you prefer your eggs. Add spicy tahini drizzle on top (optional but delicious!). You can garnish with more green herbs and feta cheese on top. Enjoy.
