The Manifestation Techniques I’ve Used Since I Was A Little Girl

Many of the people in our Agent Community know that I have been sharing all of my manifesting techniques with you since the inception of Agent Nateur, and a lot of you call me an expander, I never even knew such a term existed! Manifestation is the way I created my entire life, probably since I was 5 years old. Let me backtrack here and tell you my earliest recollection of manifestation.

I grew up in an inner city in Trenton, NJ and one of the largest parts of our culture was music and going for “rides”. My family played records from just about every genre, which is why I pride myself on having an eclectic taste in music. I listened to everything from Motown like the Stylistics, Four Tops and Delfonics, to Billy Idol, Prince, Kate Bush, EBTG, Bryan Ferry, The Pet Shop Boys, Sting, Sade and Madonna. My Aunt Rose would take me on car rides almost every day, and from as far back as when I was 5, I remember blasting Sade’s Sweetest Taboo and envisioning living in a floor to ceiling glass house with a view of LA or Miami. I saw palm trees, a gorgeous skyline and ocean view in my visions. I kept this vision in my mind (literally since I was 5!) until I manifested my ocean front apartment in Miami and my home in LA. I also watched every episode of Dynasty with my mother, and transported myself, envisioning living a fabulous life.

My mother took me to NYC nearly every weekend. She enrolled me in Saturday classes at FIT for fashion and interior design when I was just 12 years old. I was very determined and sure of myself and what I wanted. I told her I’d go to FIT again after high school but wouldn’t graduate. But I also told her she shouldn’t worry because I’d own a company someday. She took me to Barney’s and for haircuts at John Sahag. She made me watch Style with Elsa Klensch on CNN every weekend. We watched every runway show together. I knew I wanted to do something in luxury and fashion, but I didn’t know what. Both she and my aunt told me I could have anything and be anything I wanted if I worked hard. We didn’t have a lot of money or wealth, but my family had great taste and believed in me. She exposed me to the life I wanted for myself, which is what inspired me. What we instill in our children matters. If you tell them money is hard to manifest, you’re setting up a negative blueprint for them. Read Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, by T. Harv Eker, which gets into that.

Fast forward to 1998. My dad took me to LA for the first time in my life for a supplement conference and we stayed at the Hyatt on Sunset Blvd which is now the Andaz. We drove through the neighborhood behind the hotel, and looked at all of the homes from the rooftop pool and that’s when I told him I was going to live there someday. I took lots of photographs. I am not one to create vision boards, but I’ll get into that later.

Before I moved to LA, I manifested interning at the Prada shoe factory outside Firenze. That happened, and I made great money. I was 26 years old and making 6 figures.  But I became an unhappy and unfulfilled shoe designer who quickly realized I wanted to wear shoes and not design them. Music got me through my toughest years, and I used rap lyrics as my mantras to manifest.

Fast forward to 2006. I moved to LA, and I was swiffering my ex boyfriend’s house which was directly behind that Hyatt hotel in the Hollywood Hills, and Sade’s Sweetest Taboo was blasting and I was singing along. I walked over to the floor to ceiling glass walls and looked out at the view of palm trees and Sunset Strip. I saw the Hyatt rooftop pool. I began sobbing. (Some of you have followed me since before Agent, when I had milkPOP, and I shared this story on my old blog with you.) I cried uncontrollably because I had envisioned that house and view while Sade was playing when I was just 5 years old, and then 8 years prior with my dad. But I was also crying because it was his view and not mine. I knew that guy wasn’t for me and that I was going to have to work very hard to create the life I wanted. But I held on to my vision and the feelings.

In December 2006 The Secret began circulating throughout LA. I watched it and again I cried, because it resonated so deeply with how I believed I could manifest the life I wanted. A few months later I ended up at the Kabbalah Center, and again the same messages were echoed to me, that I could have anything I wanted if I took full responsibility for my life and had unwavering faith and let go of all doubts.

Below are all of my tips that have personally helped me:

  1. Envision and imagine the end outcome.
  2. Always play the end of your own movie in your head of whichever goal you’re trying to manifest.
  3. See yourself achieving it and feel it as if it’s already happened.
  4. Live from the place and energy that it’s a “done deal”. You have to go to the end.

Here is a notebook from 2011 when I was writing down my manifesting quotes:

  1. Write your goals down: I make all of my friends do this. Not in the future tense. Write them as if they happened. For example, “thank you God and universe for the love of my life, thank you universe for my dream job”. You have to write down your gratitude and thankfulness for your goal being fulfilled.
  2. Mirror Affirmations: Did you know Michael Jackson looked into the mirror every morning and said “I am the biggest selling recording artist of all time” before he was? Look at yourself in the mirror and repeat what you want every single day.
  3. I AM Paper Affirmations: I AM is extremely powerful to write. I AM healthy. I AM fertile. I AM healed. Read Instant Healing: Gain Inner Strength, Empower Yourself, and Create Your Destiny by Susan Shumsky and The Power of Positive Thinking: 10 Traits for Maximum Results by Dr Norman Vincent Peale.
  4. Song Lyric Affirmations: What lyrics are you listening to? Are they depressing? Are they about heartbreak? Begin listening to lyrics as if they are mantras. Music is vibrational. Ensure you’re listening to high vibrational music that uplifts and inspires you. Use positive lyrics as personal mantras. Listen to healing binaural beats and hz frequency music.
  5. Only vision board if the photo makes you feel good or transports you to the goal you want to achieve. Don’t add photos that don’t make you feel good.
  6. Don’t worry about how you will get there. Take the ‘how’ out. This is why it’s so important to envision the end goal and not get caught up in the steps you need to take, which can hinder you or tire you out. If you envision the end and go there in your mind, the universe will open the path to get there and eventually you go in body. I never knew that a natural deodorant would be the gateway to my dreams.
  7. Avoid anyone who puts your dreams down and doesn’t believe in you.
  8. Surround yourself with people who are smarter and more successful than you so that you can learn and grow.
  9. The "3 6 9 method" is a manifestation technique where you write down your desired goal or affirmation three times in the morning, six times in the afternoon, and nine times in the evening, essentially repeating your intention throughout the day to attract what you want into your life, based on the belief that the numbers 3, 6, and 9 carry special vibrational energy in numerology; with 3 representing creativity, 6 signifying harmony, and 9 symbolizing completion.
  10. More Books to Read:
    • You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay
    • The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo
    • Secrets of The Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker
    • Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
  11. What to watch on YouTube:
    • Ester Hicks
    • Neville Goddard
    • The Secret
    • Napoleon Hill
  12. Only hang art in your home that makes you feel good and inspires you. For example, If you want a relationship then hang art that reflects people in love. Take down any images of sadness or single people.
  13. Release all doubt and be completely unrealistic. It’s the way any of us have achieved success. Let go of all doubt and use the mantra “I know like I know like I know this will happen for me”. Have unwavering faith.
  14. Feng Shui your home for better energy. Again, if you want to manifest a relationship, do you have two nightstands and two lamps? Create double in your bedroom. Clear a section or drawer in your closet for a partner. If you want a baby, buy them an article of clothing, and make space for them in your home.
