Magtein for the Mind, Magnesium for the Body: The Intelligence of holi (mag)

When we created holi (mag), our goal was to craft a magnesium that did more than relax the muscles. We wanted to nourish the mind, calm the nervous system, and support energy, focus, and sleep simultaneously. To achieve this, we combined Magtein with five complementary forms of magnesium for full-spectrum absorption and performance.

Why magnesium matters
Magnesium is often called the “master mineral” because it is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body. It supports nervous system regulation, hormone balance, cardiovascular health, and energy production. Yet most people are deficient.

Magtein: the brain magnesium
Magtein, also known as magnesium L-threonate, is the hero of our formula. It was developed at MIT after years of research into how magnesium affects brain aging and memory.
While most forms of magnesium work primarily in the body, Magtein is the only compound proven to cross the blood-brain barrier effectively. Once inside the brain, it increases synaptic density, essentially improving communication between neurons.

2. Magnesium malate
Bound to malic acid, a compound naturally found in fruit, magnesium malate supports cellular energy and helps combat fatigue. It plays a key role in the Krebs cycle, the body’s natural energy production process.
This form is especially supportive for people who feel tired or experience brain fog. It provides sustained vitality while maintaining calm focus.
3. Magnesium citrate
This form is easily absorbed and helps regulate digestion and muscle function. It supports detoxification by helping the body flush out toxins.

4. Magnesium orotate
