Jena's March Edit

Jena's March Edit

March marks Endometriosis Awareness Month, and if you’ve been following my journey for a while, you know that this is a subject very close to my heart. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis at the age of 23. Ever since, I have been on a life-changing journey to understand and heal the chronic pain I experience.

If you have endometriosis, I’m sure you are aware of the debilitating pain and you often find yourself in moments where you’ve lost hope. I’ve had five surgeries and tried a number of different treatments and therapies to help my pain. One of the things that has helped me immensely is cupping, which I’ll explain in detail below. I’ve also come to find that when I feel happier in life and my stress levels are lower, I find great relief.

In dedication to Endometriosis Awareness Month, my March Edit includes some of the places, products, and tools that bring joy and happiness to my life because you can find healing in loving the little things.

Cupping Kit

A few years ago, I invested in a cupping kit and I cupped whenever/wherever I had pain. Each week the pain diminished. Now, I cup once or twice a week and these have changed my life!

So, what is cupping? It’s an ancient form of medicine in which special cups are put on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. This suction leaves color and marks on your skin when removed and can indicate where there are issues in your body. Cupping is also revered for drawing toxins in the blood to the skin surface to detox. It’s a treatment that has helped many with pelvic pain, such as endometriosis, ovarian cystic disease, menstruation, and infertility.

Cupping has played an integral part on my road to recovery with endometriosis because it has the ability to pull me out of pain pretty quickly. I have the KS Premium Quality Cupping Set, which is available on Amazon. If you want to learn more about my journey with endometriosis, head over to my Instagram highlights titled “endo relief.”

Liberty London

Last month one of my goals became a reality when Agent Nateur launched at Liberty London. Back in July, I wrote this goal on a piece of paper and the next day, the future buyer DM'd me saying she wanted to carry Agent Nateur at Liberty! The launch was an incredible experience and one that I will remember forever. Thank you again to everyone who came down. I loved meeting you all.

Aside from now being available at Liberty London (we'd love to see you there if you're in London or are visiting!), it's been one of my favorite department stores for many years. It's an iconic emporium established in 1875. The building itself is a heritage-listed property and famed for its unique design, cultural collaborations, and inspiring curation. They even have a dedicated in-house design studio. As soon as you walk in, you'll experience a moment of aw, and there's beauty to be found in every corner. It's visually stunning! Let me know if you get a chance to visit!

holi (lift) and TriPollar

I love using my strongest anti-aging formula holi (lift) with TriPollar. I use holi (lift) as the conductor gel and found that they work so well together.

Ralph's Coffee in Aventura

In December, Ralph's Coffee finally came to Miami and it quickly became my favorite spot to grab coffee. It's the first Florida location and can be found at Aventura Mall. My go-to order is a decaf cappuccino with oat milk, plus I always bring a sachet of holi (mane) from my travel 14-day supply with me.

Caviar Kaspia in Paris

It's not a trip to Paris without a visit to Caviar Kaspia. Where else can you indulge in to-die-for baked potatoes topped with caviar and opt for the gluten-free black buckwheat bread and blinis?!

Cédric Grolet Pastries in Paris

Another Parisienne favorite of mine for the occasional sweet treat (good for the soul) are the pastries at Cédric Grolet. Cédric is one of the world's best pastry chefs and his creations are truly irresistible.

THOMASINE Gloves

Thomasine Barnekow is a Swedish couturiere of gloves. The concept behind her THOMASINE collection is all about gloves being seen as soft jewelry for the hands. She splits her time between Paris and her family's estate Sinclairsholm in Skåne. They're the dreamiest gloves I've ever worn and she even has cute designs for kids too.

Pink Chanel Jacket - SS23 Pre-collection

Chanel's creative director Virginie Viard described the coming together of the SS23 pre-collection as "whilst staying true to the essence of CHANEL, it's fresh to the eye, and a different point of view." If I had to pick one piece from this stunning collection, it's the pink tweed jacket. It's the perfect pop of color for the winter as well as the perfect pastel pink for springtime.
