We're experiencing a historical moment in America and we cannot stay silent. The death of George Floyd and the rampant racial abuse experienced by countless other Black and Brown people in this country is completely heart wrenching. Our team at Agent Nateur has been reflecting on our implicit bias and listening to BIPOC leaders in order to learn how we can show up and spur forward lasting change.
The beauty industry is no stranger to prejudice, and there are many ways we MUST reform. At Agent Nateur, we are committed to making a personal impact using our privilege and resources. Each year, we plan to mentor one black women-owned beauty brand by supplying resource materials such as packaging, containers and other production needs, and consulting on business tools such as marketing and photography. We will also offer a $5,000 grant to one applicant per year.
In addition, our team is committed to being more inclusive. We have not done enough. We will be featuring more black people in our franchises: Nateur Cooking, Agent Woman and Agent Man, and through our podcast NATEURious.
We are listening. We are learning. We promise to make this space more loving, inclusive, and unbiased. Our entire team stands for equality for all with access to holistic health tips, wellness, clean ingredients and resources.
United in Love and Solidarity,
The Agent Nateur Team
