Job Description: Founder of Aime, a French wellness brand known for its supplements, daily matcha sachets packed with collagen and aloe vera and our probiotic deodorant collaboration.

Eat this for: Healthy skin and a boost of energy! It's called a "healthy bread," and it's a recipe that I found in a book of Deliciously Ella recipes years ago that I can't live without.

Time & Place: Every morning I pop it in the toaster and add sliced avocado, some cameline oil full of Omega 3s, and a pinch of Himalayan sea salt. With a cup of Aime Matcha Glow, it's my favorite way to start the day.

Skin Food: I love bread and used to eat a lot of it, but cutting out gluten made a huge difference in how my skin looks and how my body feels so I had to find an alternative.

Skincare mantra: “Less is more.”

HEALTHY BREAD

Makes 1 loaf

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup brown rice flour
  • 1/2 mug sunflower seeds
  • 3 tbsp psyllium husk powder
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups cold water

Place the almonds and 1 cup of the pumpkin seeds in a food processor and blend until a flour forms. Pour the flour in a large mixing bowl with all the dry ingredients and mix well. Add in 2 cups cold water, stirring the whole mixture together. Leave the bowl to one side for about an hour, at which point all the water should have been absorbed and the mix will be totally stuck together. After an hour, preheat the oven to 400°F. Turn the dough out onto a baking tray. Don’t try and make this loaf too thick or else it won’t set properly, it’s only meant to be 5 to 7 cm tall. Bake the bread for about 45 minutes, until the top turns a golden brown and you can pull a clean knife out of the middle.
